2-0 to the referee..

Improved second half, on balance of play Cardiff dominant but Tyson put what looked a perfectly fair challenge on the keeper to head into the waiting goal. It’s true we created sod all else, but that would have been the equaliser.

Ho hum, on balance of play the Bluebirds just about edged it, neither team were much kop though, and the referee was infuriatingly receptive to both their diving and the home crowd who deigned to make noise occasionally in support of their diving mincers.

Good goal by Bothroyd though, to compound our misery! I’m off for beer in the Welsh capital tonight, so more tomorrow upon my return to civilisation.

  1. Enjoy your Beer. 🙂 Shame about the result. More after I read up on the match as I’ve been away from PC until now…

  2. I could only check the score on my phone. BBC Sport website reckoned Forest made 26 fouls, which seems to suggest it was the Battle of Santiago.

  3. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/nottm_forest/7862706.stm Interview with Mr Mark Arthur on transfers!!

  4. the lack of incoming players again is an indictment to the poor work of Arthur – Davies already making very frequent and public hints on the need to strengthen – I prdict a showdown soon Arthur has over the years failed to operate well in transfer windows – its time to throw him through one !

  5. If Smoulders were still in charge we’d have Chris Porter on our payroll by now instead of the sheep sh*ggers! And Lee Camp. And we’d also have had yet another offer rejected for Leon Best!!!

The only thing I have heard in the last few weeks is that Ade Panic-buy-ee was spotted in the city ground car park, hardly anything to get excited about!

  6. its clear the players and manager are doing their level best
ARTHUR OUT – DOUGHTY PUT UP OR SHIP OUT

  7. dont know why but sort of knew we’d get nothing at cardiff today, so coupled with mild man-flu the radio got a dusting down, fray/mcgovern/chipperfield are always good value for their opinions on radio nottm and today we were second best in virtually all areas of play according to them. as for signings tell me ade panicbuy-ee lol!! aint coming here please.

  8. Arthurs already getting his excuses in for no signings – he’s a disgrace – blaming everything
but the real root cause .
Arthur – your a financially astute person I gather …so heres a basic economics lecture – a market ,any market (including decent chanpionship players) clears when supply and demand are in equilibrium and that is called the price .
thats why no one has arrived yet

  9. I never fancied us today the team was weary and not up 4 it.We take it on the chin regroup and get ready for the mutton men on wednesday lets raise the roof at the city ground and bring the Brian clough trophy home where it belongs.

    U reds

  10. ARTHUR out !!!!!!!
He says regarding this transfer window we are building for the long term future…….
Can someone tell this waste of space we need experienced players in NOW to help us stay in this division THIS YEAR !!!!!
Chairman.Get rid of him NOW !!!!!!!

  11. another website described us a “dirty” anyone there back this up ? we did seem to be giving away a lot free kicks.

  12. I would just like to point out that BD has come on the radio and given his honest opinion. Arthur did yesterday as well. Some will like it some won’t.

BD has also said numerous times that all of us need to pull together on and off the pitch to get us out of this relegation fight. We have a very tough February after the pantomime game Wednesday.

Redrob your club needs YOU … stick with it 110%

  13. Skysports have a double dose of transfer rumours for us..

“7.28 Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal to sign Hibernian captain Rob Jones in a £600,000 deal.” &
“11.33 Bristol City have rejected an approach from Nottingham Forest for striker Dele Adebola with City unwilling to sell to a Championship rival.” Damn!

  14. Hope the Sheep don’t get lost in the snow…. 😆
