Half time at The Valley..

Two nil is marginally flattering, but who cares? Tyson bundled the first in, Earnie with another delicious chip. Charlton had caused early wobbles in defence, and our midfield was largely bypassed early doors with a series of hoofs.. But well, happy regardless!

Forest fans in good voice and numbers, despite it being absolutely freezing! Not heard from the sizeable home crowd aside from the minutes applause at the start (which very graciously referenced Chic Thomson), and booing off their team at half time.

Probably won’t post a full time report til Im back in Nottingham. You Reds!

  2. Just got back from the game – shaky first half as nffc described, ‘smash & grab’ of the two goals and a second 45 minutes of hard work, a couple more good saves from the rejuvenated “Smithy” and after 5 minutes of added time (where did those come from?) – the joy of final whistle!!

And looking at the league table, it’s a very, very good job that we did win – otherwise all the hard work of the last few weeks would have been wasted. So, we’ve got a platform to build-on.

BD came over and applauded the fans at the end of the game and then went to shake the hands and congratulate every one of the players – that’s management! U Reds!!

  3. Well done You Reds !!
I´m hoping we get into the habit of getting at least 2 goals before half time…..It is better for the nerves listening to the second half.
Well done all of you who braved the cold to cheer them on !!! Fantastic !!!

  4. ps Shelvey sounds like a good prospect to get hold of if charlton go down !!
