Still can’t quite believe ho well we are doing now compared to the past few years. Credit to Forest for investing heavily in the playing staff during the summer – even if Billy does keep insisting we were only playing catch up!

Its been a phenomenal year hasnt it…. I for one didnt believe we could make such progress and in all fairness, whilst I wasnt very anti-Billy, I didnt exactly get the red carpet out for him. How he proved me wrong.

As for this debate whether we are ready to go up or not, I think back to Wolves and the years they were stuck in the Championship – never quite being good enough. Its not about choice – if you go up, then make a fist of it and try and stay up. If you come back down again, so be it.

Interesting times ahead, especially in the January window, as this will prove (or disprove) the ambition of the Club. Billy wants new players – but does the Club?? We shall see.

Happy New Year to Trickies fans everywhere and I look forward to a tremendous 2010 following the team I love.
