Doughty Hanson lost £80m on the Setanta investment, but as an entity, that really isn’t that much cash to them. As an individual Nigel Doughty lost nothing – and has stated it won’t affect his policy on Forest.

So I don’t think Earnie or anyone else (unless we get a great offer, or want rid) will be sold.

Garner could be someone Davies seeks to loan out for more experience, although he’s said before he’d like six strikers – well he only has five credible ones at the moment, and as a previous commenter notes, Tys could be deployed out wide (although I’d be more inclined to have Tyson on the left and Ando on the right).

Couple of people on the LTLF forum claim to have seen Anderson at the City Ground today whilst queuing for their season tickets. Pinch of salt needed, of course, but all the signs suggest he will be signing.

dont be suprised if ernie goes,the money for players coming in has gotta come from somewhere and Mr Doughty has just lost a few quid with setanta goin down,if a decent offer comes in for anyone weather it be ty’s,ernie,lewis…… they’ll be on there way to keep the books balanced and and the heirarchy happy,my guess would be earnshaw to a newly promoted prem club ???? my opinion but we’ll have to wait and see

Yes I think Garner will be the player that will be put on sale. Tyson will revert to a right wing role with his exception pace, and provide. With Anderson on the left, and Dele in the middle, should be interesting. Don’t forget Dele is 34, so Garner could still learn from him.

I am still hopeful that Camp will come, rumours from QPR is that they are selling him, and we’ve put in a bid of around £1 million.

The defence is somewhat of a worry still, and the need for a DM as well.

Re: McSheffrey, I think that’s no longer going to happen with the named signings above.

Something tells me that either Earnie, Garner or Tyson will be moved on now we have Adebola and McGoldrick. I hope not and BD says he wanted lots of strikers but they will all be wanting to play…

Yes good news all round with dele, anderson and Mcgoldrick, I would guess that would rule us out of a move for mcsheffery as probably got the attacking positions covered? Any news or rumour on that one as he is the one player I felt REALLY excited about signing.
