All sorts of rumours on sponsors. I don’t think EON will be in the frame, Childline are backed by Nigel Doughty but I don’t think Forest will be ‘doing a Barca’

Santander is a surprise shout from some quarters.

Whispers are a deal is done, but I have no idea as to how accurate – or the cause for the delays (as obviously they’ve issued season tickets now without a sponsor, and are rumoured to be considering launching the home kit without a sponsor too).

Worst-kept transfer secret confirmed – Adebola has agreed to sign for Forest tomorrow when his Bristol City contract expires.

That’s some strike force we are going to have – even Neil Warnock would be hard-pressed to beat this one; Tyson, Earnshaw, Garner, McGoldrick, Adebola, …..

Did anyone else see Doughty Hanson lose 80 million plus with the death of Setanta? Combine this with the business nazis at the EU looking to cripple hedge funds with new banking leglisation and I’m surprised Nigel is giving us any money at all.

I would LOVE Forest to be sponsored by a charity though.

Regarding the club sponsor, I heard talk a while back that it was either going to be an offshore betting company or we would sponsor Childline by having their name on our kits. Childline is heavily supported and funded by ND. I’d love to see us do this but can’t see it happening.
