Welcome on board Andrew Cole. It’s great to get some old fashioned local passion into this. I dont think he’d be feeling the same if he signed for burnley!!

I hope Cole can show leadership skills and some “balls” on the field!

Vas & all the rest – stop talking of goalies – what r we going to do, sign him on a year loan whilt sending out our 3 youngster goalies? Riddiculous if your asking me. The best thing in my opinion is send them 1 @ a time out on loan means two still at the clu any 1 time. 1 on the bench & to use in Cup games to gain vital experience & 1 in the reserves for match fitness. Rotation between the 3 & money saved @ the same time.

Hi guys, glad to see that the atmosphere has changed!!! After all, “he” might know what he’s doing (lol)
Very good signings indeed, don’t be surprised is Moussi is the hit of the season! As for Cole, just look at what Windass has done with Hull at almost 40! Scoring is an art you never forget isnt it?
Congratulations CC, now after getting Garner’s deal in black and white it’s time for a second goalie and maybe a creative midfielder.
I can’t wait for the opener v Reading and might be there too!!!

What a signing now it’s finalised. Andrew Cole, what a name, what an extinguished career he’s had 2. CC does come up with the goods at times. For now, u’re forgiven but that doesn’t mean you’re off the hook yet. 1 of the 2 criterias have been met so that’s ok.

When the season starts & the teams jelled a bit more then the critics will return either bad or good. Well done to the backroom board too even though some of those wages are from departing players.

Agogo, if u’ve gone (most likley yes) then what a chance you’ve missed. Tyson, what a chance for you to play with such a great strker. Judas, stuff u, we got Cole so join the Rams fast train to Div1:lol: & don’t come back.

Word of warning Andrew – not that u need it – don’t take your place for granted, Lennon did & got a shock for it & ran off around 6 months. There’s some good kids in the reserves (at least CC took them too 2 Bath) & we let go of 2 U-21′s as well. That shows how good they are. Stick around, you’re a local lad & not many people get a chance to play for their home team. The younger players will look up to you big time especialy since your local.

Al the best Andrew & can’t wait to see you in action.

Finally, CC, well done again but there’s still things to be done.

Good news, yes not in his prime but with a good pre-season I would take a ratio like he had at Burnley of circa 0.5 goals per game.

Welcome Andrew Cole, I am still looking foward to 3 up front, Earnshaw, Tyson and Cole, being supplied by Anderson and Moussi, and lets not forget Davis, with a bit of luck and no injuries we may have the start of a great team.
