Well that's a howling result if ever I've seen one.

At least I'll get to go to the reply though I suppose.

For trains to Lincoln, I thought they did a good service out that way, I used to do that journey every week and it was pretty good. Maybe you could go via Newark or something?

Hi Dean,

Hard to say - it sounded to me, and I've heard from folks who went, that we were too much for you for the first 30 minutes or so - but were poor finishing, and then let you back into it.

If we play like that again, then an upset could be on the cards - I expect that there won't be a huge crowd at the City Ground, but I think even with that we should finish the job there - but you never know!

I guess tickets will be between £16-£20 - my understanding is Forest have to agree this with Lincoln, so I'm not sure exactly yet. Train fare, I'm also unsure of as I tend to drive everywhere - but the last train from Nott'm to Lincoln is at 20:42 according to www.thetrainline.com - which will be too late. I imagine that they will put on a later train for travelling Imps fans though.

"not particularly inspiring" nffc?!
Too right, we played crap. Sorry, but just think about it. Clingan and Chambers played poorly today, McGugan seemed out of his depth for large parts of the game, and as for Smith....
Deep into the 2nd half he had a chance to roll the ball out to Bennett. He hesitated, waited, then hoofed it upfield straight to their keeper. And that wasn't the only time he did that. So bearing in mind he is actually a very good goalkeeper in that he is a great shotstopper, what the hell is Dave Watsons role? Shot-stopping is natural. But teaching the keeper to vary play, keep the ball and be a 'captain' at the back, well, if that's watsons job then he's failing. Because 99% of the times Smith has the ball he gives it away to the opposition. Having said that apart from Wilson (my m.o.m) none of our lot emerged with a great deal of credit today.

Right, thats my moan and groan over with. I'm off out to the pub now!!
Up the Irons!!
