The mindless ramblings of a Forest fan half imbued with a probably misguided sense of optimism..

This was always going to be a tough game in my eyes....but we got the result we deserved but only just.

I agree with mattyboy about Tyson. His confidence seems shot to pieces at the mo but on the other hand, I think Agogo is playing his best football whilst he's been wearing Garibaldi.

Thought Cohen worked like a trojan and really covered some miles but my MOTM went to Chambers who looks solid at the back and a real threat going forward.

NOW.....no f*ck ups at Cheltenham please???

Can't really grumble about a hard fought win, we'll no doubt play better during the season and get nothing (Leeds, anyone?!).
Shame that Tyson got injured though, he's suffering a real lack of confidence right now, and got kicked hard in the first half but carried on so it was a shame to see such an innocuous looking stumble force him off. Whereas Junior on the other hand had I think the poorest game he's had in a long time, yet pops up to score the winner!

What about dirty Leeds though. Couldn't get 20 thousand through the gates end of last season, calling Wise all the names under the sun, and proclaiming the end of the world. Eight games later and Dennis is God, 30 thou in the ground and looking unstoppable. Bastards!!

Lucky Indeed - we were the better side in the first half, but about as fluent as a fawlty towers waiter's english after the break.

Perhaps if was just me, but Agogo's follow up looked to be going accross the goal 'til it hit their keeper who guided it in? They all count.

Agogo had a good game - strong at winning the ball, good by comparison with Tyson who seemed to fade out of much of the game.

Grant did OK - should have scored with a header, but you cant blame the guy for being a bit rusty.

Final verdict - good to get the points, but we'll have to play more like the first 45 than the last if we're going to get to and stay at the Automatic slots - especially with Leeds Jugernaught knocking everything out of their way.
