I feel like having a bit of a moan. I haven’t done that in a while, so make no apologies for it - now, I know I used the W-word in the title, that is – of course – under the strict understanding that there is no in-built assumption in there we’ll be going there, however, despite this uncertainty I don’t think it would do any harm for the club to share their plans (if they have any yet!) for selling tickets should we get through.
Rather cynically, Forest are tonight very generously providing a bumper edition of the programme – presumably to fit even more pointless adverts and drivel in – for the princely sum of £4. Given that any potential Wembley visits would probably see a programme cost probably double that, I think I’ll give them a miss. It’s a real underlining of the fact that Forest are going all out to cash in on the playoffs though.
The other sounds of note coming from Forest are probably quite important really – and that is that they are maintaining their strict stance on pitch invaders tonight. So those of you who have the urge, I’d refrain – apparently the few who got on for the last league game were arrested, and do face banning orders. I think it’s a bit draconian personally, but Forest have made their stance clear on this – so avoid the urge!
And so we find ourselves just a matter of hours away from the final obstacle to the assumptions many fans seem to be under that we’re going to Wembley. This means, of course, that the clamour for information about how to acquire tickets should we progress is already underway. Amazingly Yeovil have published their plans if they turn it around, of course, Forest – as ever – remain resolutely silent in providing any helpful information at all.

Get it out of your system, lad !
We all need a good rant every now and again.
It’s annoying me also, this lack of info regarding possible Wembley arrangements. As well as nervously awaiting tonights game, we’ve got this to contend with. Sort it out Forest!!
What do you expect from a club run by Arthur. This club couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery.
They don’t mind taking our money but if you go on the pitch to congratulate the team or want info about wembley which is only a week away then us fans have to take a running jump.
Maybe in the £4 programme tonight they will print details. Just a pitty nobody will be buying them due to the rip off price.
To be fair – the extended programme looks to have extra content, pages etc. for your 4 quid. Frankly I’ve always found the characterless drivel that programmes serve up a rip off at any price. Just don’t buy it – read a splendid blog like this one!
As to keeping us off the pitch – it’s ridiculous… I’d like to see half the city ground out of on the pitch at the end, then the powers that be could slap banning orders on half of the people that pay the wages and we could play in front of 8-12 thousand next season – Great!
As for the W-word, I hope Yeovil have jinxed themselves by making plans for buying tickets to soomewhere they may not be going… we’ll see tonight.
Not sure they should say too much about Wembley unless it happens. They’d only come out with, ‘We’re serious about Wembley, are you?’
Sky News were saying today everyone is moaning about Wembley prices – tickets about £60 , programmes were £10 each and £8 for a sodding burger….
Looks like it the “moaning day all round
As for Forest and their lack of information, well thats just typical!
It’s been a long standing problem for the club, that us supporters are a bloody nuisance, but lets save the moaning til tomorrow morning…. Lets get behind the reds and finally push to get out of this crap league, once and for all.
You reds!!!!
Abso-bloody-lutely – I’ve got it out of my system now so I can be a noisy bastard later!
GUTTED……
Your whole mentality reflects the attitude of the Forest players tonight. To busy thinking about Wembley to get the job done……
You obviously don’t read much of what I write if that’s your take on my mentality.
Well, that wasn’t supposed to happen. Why does Prutton getting sent off as we enter extra time and really NEED him not surprise me? Well, there was a good deal of effort ou there tonight, although none worked hardr than Grahm Poll, who must have sprained his wrist getting that yellow card out so often. Is there any Yeovil player he didn’t book? Surely, at least two of them must have been booked twice??
http:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nottingham_Forest. go down to Colin Calderwood section, at end of that section is a summary from a Forest fan (me!). you can use it on the site if you wish and i’m interested in writing for this season, lots of quality in it i have to say
