Having purchased (and read !) all the other Clough books I was ready to give this one a miss. Your review will make me reconsider.

As I’ve written here afore, great though BC was, he needed Peter Taylor. In fact they needed each other. So, I’ll endorse your quotation from Hamilton about “our” failure to recognise Taylor’s contribution to the glory days.

Delighted to see Warnock will be in Divsn 2 next season !!! Maybe next time we can beat the miserable **** in the play-offs for Premiership in 2008.
