I really wish people would stop saying we can catch bristol – lets be honest its just not going to happen – still if at 5pm tomorrow the gap is one point – even i might start getting optomistic again !!! Heres Hoping YOU REDS !!

Also, if Carlisle draw with Brizzle then we are mathematically assured of a playoff place as long as we get at least a draw with Bournemouth. If we win (we’d better), and if Blackpool beat Cheltenham (they will) then the pressure is on Brizzle away at Millwall. The downside is that by then Millwall will have nothing to play for, except pride. (Which I guess works for lions). Even so, it would be a tough test of Brizzle’s credentials. Orient are the home draw specialists in League 1, so there’s no guarantee that we’ll get anything more from them, particularly if we play with all the guile and creativity we showed in the first half against Brentford.

I don’t see us finishing anywhere other than 3rd or 4th, and it’s just a case of how we play against Blackpool in the final. It’s tempting to say that CC should play our academy team for the last two games and rest the senior squad so that they don’t get themselves sent-off or injured and are fit for the play-offs. Apart from Commons – who should be put on a running machine for the entitre two weeks until he can fit into his shorts.

yep, i can see it boiling down to the last day of the season. 1 up against Crewe and promoted only for them to score in the 79th minute and scupper the whole season.
