Then check out some of the captions on these pictures, and these ones too, on their official website! Whilst I can understand the compulsion, the lack of professionalism is quite amusing - I’ve saved my favourite two for posterity - the first, features Barry Roche doing his best gibbon impression:
And my absolute favourite is below, it will keep me chuckling for days! Whilst it’s given me a good laugh, if you’re reading, Tina Jenner, I think you need to grow up a bit, love!
* Due to a sense of humour deficiency I’ve been asked to remove the offending pictures by Chesterfield FC’s webmaster, which I’ve done since they do own the copyright of the images. The picture that amused me most was one of David Prutton - who was, of course, heavily bearded and long haired at the time - which had the caption “a random tramp seems to clear Seb’s shot” - alas I can no longer share it with you, and of course, the caption on the official site has since been changed. Not that anyone is likely to look back upon this story anyway!

That beard is coming on a treat……..NOT. Get a friggin’ shave young man!! Good job he can use a football, eh?, The Great Man would be turning in his grave at the sight of him. It did make me laugh when I saw the pics though. Can you imagine the uproar if they appeared on the Forest OS? I think we should treat it with the contempt it deserves.

you’d think Roche wouldn’t dare look at us after the Kenco fiasco

I’ve had a look at all the photos and i don’t think i have seen anything so unproffesional. however the prutton one did make me laugh!! oh dear. The derbyshire folk are always very bitter!!

You can’t fault her for her honesty and bitterness! The pain of losing their cup final has obviously got to the woman. Hope we don’t see you again soon, crooked spireites.

Relax guys, you too nffc, they changed the lines under Prutton’s pic, go back and check it out. However the Cigarettes, huh sorry Spireites must have been hit by some kind of a sheepshagging influenza. BTW well done U18s, crushed D***y 4-2 and their manager is not even satisfied!!! That’s the idea. U REDS!

Haha.. I’m relaxed… I was disappointed to read they’d changed it, until I clicked the link again and checked it out, it now reads:
“A random tramp well actually ex England U21 captain David Prutton on loan from Southampton clear’s Seb’s shot”
Obviously they’re allergic to putting a comma in a sentence, and the less said about the random use of the apostrophe in “clear’s” the better!
I suppose that’s a Derbyshire education for you…

Yeah, I bet they’d also spell BC wrong… Like Cluff or something… lol

Dear NFFC
Well done for helping us select the right team to play on Saturday. Colin had planned on playing Gary Holt on the left with Scott Dobie at the top of the diamond but then he saw the team you thought he should play and decided it was time to listen to the fans.
So well done and if you ever want a job in football management do give me a call.
Cheers

Thanks Nige, I think I’ll stick to being a supporter though

Nigel, if there’s a job going, I’m your man.

Thanks Special One, I’ll give your offer some serious thought. Colin tells me that we gave your team a real footballing lesson at the Bridge last month but we decided to deliberately throw the game to concentrate on promotion.

PS We have a player called Lester who keeps getting booked. If you can offer any tips on how your players maintain their discipline then that would be much appreciated.

I think Prutton bears a passing resemblance to Gattuso these days…

Well, Prutts still looks better than GingeHolt
