I’ll cut through the crap, here’s the detail:
- Away members – 9am 13th January ’til 5pm 16th January
- Season ticket holders (5 or more away games) – 9am 17th January ’til 1pm 20th January.
- Rest of season ticket holders – 10am – 4pm on 21st January
- General sale – 9am 23rd January.
Can’t grizzle at that really – they are using their booking system to ascertain away trips – so if you bought on the gate at Oldham, for example, it won’t count. Forest are not taking online bookings for the fixture, nor are they taking postal bookings – so it’s turning up in person or phoning only.
Now I’m left with the dilemma of how many away tickets I booked using my patron code – I might give the season ticket office a call and see if they can jog my memory!

Well done Forest!! Some reward for those of us that follow them away on a regular basis.
Should cut down on the amount of ‘go to the big games only’ fans and make sure all of the hardcore support is there.
U REDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agree that it’s right and fair that they’ve taken steps to ensure that the fans who’ve committed to more away games are basically guaranteed a ticket should they want it.
It’s a shame they didn’t make it clear (or I didn’t read it, perhaps) that this might be a factor in ticket acquisition earlier in the season though, as a number of my away trips this season have been fairly last minute decisions, and as such I’ve picked up tickets on general sale!
Ho hum! Guess I’ll be queueing on the Sunday, then!
Says on the forest website you can do it online, when it goes on sale to season ticket holders and also when it goes on general sale.
Only time it is not available online is when it is the st with 5 aways of more.
Aaaaah! Quite right Lisa. Good spot.
What do you reckon the chances of tickets going on general sale, I have a funny feeling some might. Game is on tv and people will be skint just being after xmas and all that. Plus most people won’t get paid until the weekend of the game.
Gutted if I can’t get a ticket, had a season ticket last year and went to most away games, been to a few games this season. Last Saturday against Charlton got me right in the mood again.
ive been to 8 away games, i think ive used my season ticket to buy them on 6 occations, i just wondered do they take note of tickets brought at the ground then because ive never noticed or is it only for people that have rung up to book tickets?
So long as you give your patron code when you buy the tickets in person, they should be logged against your season ticket.
However, I’ve done this three times this season – and upon ringing the ticket office they only recognised one of them – so I don’t think it’s a system without flaws.
Give the ticket office a ring and they can check their records for you.
it b easyier if u could take ur season ticket there and tickt stubs for the away games youve been to because ive saved all mine, but they need to b on their system dont they?
They do need to have it on their systems… ticket stubs is useful, but easy to manipulate as 2 fans who’ve been to 3 games each could use them to get a Chelsea ticket (which they’d then have to fight over!).
yep i suspose, i jst dnt fancy queing 4 ages on a week on sunday morning, much rather get them nxt wednessday
