As if the odds weren’t stacked against us enough, we now have not only Jose’s millionnaire army to contend with, but it will also be broadcast to the nation thank to the BBC picking up on the fixture.
The game will be played on Sunday 28th January, kicking off at 2pm – which is irritating, but certainly the TV revenue is more than welcome. Tickets have been confirmed at a very reasonable £25 for adults, and £12 for concessions. As yet the arrangements for tickets going on sale is to be confirmed.
Certainly I imagine that being on TV will reduce the clamour for tickets somewhat – it did for the very small allocation of tickets we received for the Salisbury City away game – and with a large allocation I imagine a few will opt for the comfort of watching infront of the television. Sure, we’re guaranteed to get a good hiding now, but I’m still looking forward to it!

We’ll get a result for this.
We’ll get a result from this, both on and off the pitch.
Well, thankfully, as I can’t make it. I’ll be getting smashed and watching this in front of the TV…
