I have been calling for a Prutton return for ages!!! I know that Kinnear made a bid for him as well, but that was instantly rubbished as it was a very unrealistic move at the time and one that was probably only made to make it look like something positive was being done behind the scenes.

Prutton is an intelligent guy and having spoken to him and his mates I know that he loves Forest. He would be the perfect replacement for Southall, who with his age can't go on forever being the sort of player he is.

If not Prutton, what about Paul Iffil from Sheff Utd? He's up for loan apparently.

If I recall correctly, Luke Chambers has just (ish!) signed a new contract at Northampton...I think £150k would be an absolute bargain for him...I'd think his value would be nearer £250-300k honestly. He's a cracking player.

Like to see Pruts back here though...we could do with him, as long as he can curb his temper. That of course has gotten him into a fair bit of bother in the past!

As for players leaving: I think Harris has to be top of the list. And Gino...and Ross Gardner as well. I think we'll let him go to the Vale fairly cheaply after the comments in the programme on Saturday.
