Will he, won’t he?

agogo.jpgPopular rumours suggest the chase for Junior Agogo is soon to be over for Nottingham Forest – largely driven from the numerous forums online, on one somebody claimed to have been asked to print up a shirt with ‘Agogo 23′ on the back for use in a press conference.

Frustratingly the press conference hasn’t happened as yet – which would suggest if there are legs in the rumours doing the rounds, he won’t be signed in time to feature in tomorrow’s trip to Huddersfield, Forest’s chance to make it five wins in five.

So really it’s where we were – a very protracted and tiresome chase for a player who really we couldn’t say for sure whether or not will add a great deal to the team.  Nathan Tyson will be fit again by the time he signs at this rate!!

  1. Well according to Forest chief exec Mark Arthur, Bristol Rovers agreed a fee with us, sent Junior up to Nottingham to check it out, have a medical and agree terms – which was all sorted, then proceeded to switch their phones off so we couldn’t finalise the deal!

Bastards! Maybe the idea of an initial emergency loan made them nervous incase he picked up a knock and we cancelled the deal.

Ah well – as I type it’s half time in the match between Huddersfield and Forest, and Forest are 1-0 up thanks to Grant Holt!
