Junior transfer a go go?

It would appear the saga of signing Junior Agogo isn’t over just yet – he seems to be accusing Bristol Rovers of being in breach of his contract after they put the brakes on his move to us last week.

The PFA are backing his claim, and presumably they have legal advisors to look into this – the basis of it being that Forest did actually meet a release clause in his contract, so Rovers – if this is true – should have been compelled to accept the deal.

There’s  all kinds of speculation as to why they didn’t – largely centred around the fact that it’s popularly rumoured that our offer was a player-plus-cash type thing, when a player is involved there’s obviously room for interpretation of the actual value of the offer.

But anyway, given Agogo’s actions it would seem he’d like to join us – let’s hope he does and soon, because if Rovers have been buggering us about then they’ve prevented us signing him before a tricky fixture against Brighton later today.
